Brooks Kushman Shareholder Marc Lorelli To Serve As Panelist At 2018 ACC Corporate Counsel University

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., - Brooks Kushman Shareholder Marc Lorelli will serve as a panelist at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Corporate Counsel University in Philadelphia, PA. Brooks Kushman is also a sponsor of the event, and attorneys Kristin L. Murphy, Rachel Smith and Todd Dishman will also be attending.

Lorelli’s panel, “Protecting Your Client’s IP,” will focus on identifying common issues with patent advertising, trademarks, licensing, and open source software. The panel will also discuss nondisclosure agreements and necessary steps to protect corporate IP.

Lorelli is co-chair of Brooks Kushman’s intellectual property litigation practice. He has successfully tried patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright cases in Federal Courts nationwide. He has also practiced before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and the International Trade Commission. Lorelli also has extensive experience with post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office including re-examination and inter partes review.

ACC’s Corporate Counsel University is a two-day workshop which features panels that focus on various areas of corporate law. The event will take place on June 20– 22nd in Philadelphia, PA.  The program is designed specifically for attorneys who are new to in-house practice or looking to sharpen their basic practice skills. Topics range from data privacy and employment to finance and intellectual property.
