PLI’s 11th Annual Patent Law Institute
The Practicing Law Institute is hosting the 11th Annual Patent Law Institute. The meeting is designed to be of practice value to the three subgroups in the patent law community: patent prosecutors, patent litigators, and strategic/transactional attorneys.
Brooks Kushman principal Lissi Mojica will be participating on a panel at this year’s event at PLI's New York Center. The panel will provide an overview of the evolution post-grant proceedings over the last five years and best practices before the patent trial and appeal board.
Lissi is a globally recognized leader in post-grant proceedings and one of the most experienced practitioners in this field. Prior to entering private practice, Lissi was an examiner with the US Patent Trademark Office (USPTO) for 19 years. In that role, she launched the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) to safeguard the quality and consistency of reexamination proceedings and to reduce pendency.
