Brooks Kushman Announces New Shareholder Corey Neil

SOUTHFIELD, Michigan– Brooks Kushman is pleased to announce that Corey Neil has been promoted to shareholder through election by his peers.

“Corey is an experienced attorney and leader in the IP community,” says Frank Angileri, President of Brooks Kushman. “We are thrilled to have him to continue to serve the firm’s clients and continue his leadership within the firm.”

Corey Neil is a registered patent attorney. He focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting domestic patent applications in the mechanical and electromechanical arts and serves as a seconded in-house IP attorney for a large automotive supplier. He also has extensive experience providing data to clients that strengthens their position in determining whether to patent an inventive concept, whether they have freedom to operate, identifying white space and the state of art in certain technology markets, as well as in intellectual property negotiations, settlements, and litigation. Prior to joining Brooks Kushman, Neil spent several years working as an engineer, as well as acting as a liaison between an automotive supplier’s patent department located in Germany and its’ North American Headquarters.
