SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman attorney David Randall is moderating a panel at TechTainment 5.0, a conference hosted by the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Legal Association (LAIPLA) and Loyal Law School and sponsored by Brooks Kushman this year. The panel includes distinguished members of the IP and eSports communities. During the discussion, panelists will explore the opportunities and challenges that the eSports industry will face over the next several years as the industry continues its rapid growth in terms of viewership and prize money.
Randall is based in Brooks Kushman’s Los Angeles office. He routinely represents clients in complex IP and business litigation matters, including patent, trademark and trade secret litigation, throughout the United States, and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. David also frequently assists clients with the development and management of worldwide patent and trademark portfolios, as well as issues concerning product design. Randall is active in the IP community; he is presently the Secretary of the LAIPLA and a Board member, he co-chaired the Planning Committee for TechTainment 4.0 and 5.0, and also co-chaired the Planning Committee for the LAIPLA Spring Seminars in both 2014 and 2018. Along with his involvement with LAIPLA, Randall has been an active member of the Intellectual Property Owners Association’s (IPO) U.S. Post-Grant Patent Office Practice Committee since 2013.
