Anna’s practice focuses on trademark and copyright protection and enforcement, and entertainment law. She has a background in theatre performance and a passion for the arts. After working in the entertainment industry, she realized that she could make a greater impact as an attorney, representing the rights of businesses, artists, and creative professionals. In 2016, she was named an Up & Coming Lawyer by Michigan Lawyers Weekly for her leadership within the legal community and her dedication to supporting local artists. Anna takes a client-focused approach, representing clients ranging from large corporations to start-ups in a variety of areas including consumer goods, entertainment, fashion, software and technology, automotive, and financial service industries. She manages large client intellectual property portfolios and advises small start-ups as they build their intellectual property portfolios from the ground up. Anna also helped organize and formalize the firm’s copyright practice group. Anna served as a legal intern under former Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, the Honorable Marilyn Kelly. She is an active member of the Arts, Communications, Entertainment, and Sports section of the Michigan Bar, formerly serving as Chair of the section. Anna participated in the Lawyers for the Creative Economy Initiative through Creative Many Michigan as a volunteer lawyer, providing pro-bono and low-cost services to qualifying local artists. Anna also served for four years on the International Trademark Association's (INTA`s) Pro-Bono Committee and is a member of the Copyright Society of the USA, Midwest Chapter. Anna is involved in the local community, volunteering with the Detroit Economic Club Young Leaders Career Readiness Academy, where she has worked with other Young Leaders to prepare local high school students for academic success and rewarding careers.
