Emily Binienda takes a client-centered approach to her practice, always putting her clients’ needs first.  Her Practice focuses on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis on trademark litigation. She represents Fortune 500 Corporations, small businesses, and individuals in a variety of intellectual property claims.  Emily has prior experience working as a legal extern at MSU’s Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection Center (A-CAPP Center), as well as clerking at a boutique intellectual property internet law firm where she assisted and handled trademark counterfeiting and copyright litigation matters, as well as matters in internet law.   Emily holds a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law. Prior to that, Emily graduated with Bachelor of Arts in English, Literature and Philosophy from Grand Valley State University where she graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Emily was involved with many organizations including MSU Intellectual Property Law Society, MSU Board of Advocates, and the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition.   Emily is active with local animal rescue organizations and fosters cats through her local humane society. She also enjoys yoga, trying new vegan recipes, loves to read and collect rare and first edition books.
