Brooks Kushman attorney and long-time shareholder, Don Harrington passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 7, 2011.

Don started his career as an engineering officer representing the Bureau of Aeronautics of the U.S. Navy and developed the first carrier-based jet fighter plane (Phantom I) at McDonnell Aircraft Company.  He began his patent career as a patent examiner at the United States Patent & Trademark Office, and later worked as in-house patent counsel, first at Chrysler Corporation for three years, and then at Ford Motor Company for 34 years.  After retiring from Ford, Don spent the past 21 years with Brooks Kushman, focusing on patent application preparation and prosecution.

Don will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with him and the Harrington family.
