SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 13, 2011 – On March 30, 2011, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit affirmed the grant of summary judgment of non-infringement of two patents asserted against Brooks Kushman clients, Cleveland Die and Manufacturing, Inc. and Cleveland Die of Mexico.  Brooks Kushman attorneys, Robert Tuttle, Robert Brandenburg and John Nemazi, secured summary judgment based on proof of an oral license granted by the patentee to the purchaser of Cleveland Die`s product.  The existence of the license proved a complete defense to the patent infringement claims.  View the Federal Circuit`s March 30, 2011 Opinion of Radar Industries, Inc. v.
