Design patents are often overlooked when developing patent protection and branding strategies. However, those that understand how to leverage nuanced design patent strategies in their intellectual property portfolios have enjoyed many benefits, both in terms of maximizing portfolio value and success in enforcement. During this webinar series, design patent experts including attorneys, USPTO examiners, and patent owners will talk about why design patents are such a strong value-add to any portfolio.

Panelists will discuss the role of design patents and their associated challenges and nuances. They will talk about their value in protecting many types of vehicle innovations, such as cars, aircraft, space vehicles, and their various components.

Turner focuses his practice on domestic and foreign patent prosecution for mechanical matters, electromechanical matters, systems, and designs. His industry background in robotics and automation provides him with experience in various technologies and manufacturing processes, which he utilizes to protect his client’s intellectual property rights.
