Irina Sullivan to Speak at SWE Region Conference

Southfield, Mich. – Brooks Kushman attorney Irina Sullivan will speak at the Society for Women Engineers (SWE) Region Conference in Ann Arbor, MI on March 10, 2017. The presentation will focus on women inventors and the disparity between men and women receiving patents. Sullivan will also offer action items for young women engineers to use as their careers continue to develop and grow.

Sullivan is a registered patent attorney and focuses her practice on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in electrical and electromechanical systems. Her practice also covers a wide range of technologies in the automotive and consumer electronics industries. Prior to joining Brooks Kushman, Sullivan was a service engineer for an automotive manufacturer where she identified and resolved product concerns on vehicles with hybrid and high-voltage propulsion systems.

Sullivan holds a Master`s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan Dearborn and a Bachelor`s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University.
