Brooks Kushman Patent Agent to Discuss Medical Innovation at the Henry Ford Innovation Institute

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., – Brooks Kushman Registered Patent Agent Stephanie Mansfield will discuss innovation in the medical industry at a presentation hosted by the Henry Ford Innovation Institute at noon on July 16, 2014.

Mansfield will join Kristyn Aalto of Henry Ford Health System Innovations to share her insights on the patentability of medical innovations, and the process for transforming ideas into market-ready products.

Mansfield has more than 15 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the biomedical and mechanical arts, with particular emphasis in the areas of medical, orthopedic and biomechanical devices, tissue engineering and consumer products.

She holds a PhD. in Biomedical Engineering, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
