Southfield, Mich. – Crain's Detroit Business has issued their "Top Verdicts, Settlements of 2011" and the trademark infringement lawsuit, Innovation Ventures LLC v. N2G Distributing Inc. involving the popular 5-Hour Energy® drink, made the list of big cases. In November 2011, Michigan intellectual property law firm Brooks Kushman secured a $1.75 million jury verdict on behalf of client, Innovation Ventures LLC, dba Living Essentials, the maker of the 5-Hour Energy® drink, in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Brooks Kushman litigators, Mark Cantor and Marc Lorelli were lead counsel in the trademark infringement action.
