SOUTHFIELD, Michigan– Brooks Kushman CEO Sangeeta Shah was a contributor to the Law.com Mid-Market Report titled, “‘It Won’t Be Anything Like the Normal We Experienced in 2020′: Midsize Firm Leaders’ Best Predictions.” In this article midsize law firm leaders discuss how 2020 ended for them and what their predictions are looking forward to 2021.
While the reviews were mixed between firms, Shah was optimistic as she notes that going from 2020 to 2021 there was a greater sense of confidence and stability in the legal community. She mentions that, “The one thing for midsize firms is clients seem to be wanting to tap into niche experience, and so that bodes well for boutique firms that are able to, in a concentrated way, offer that experience well and in a fixed-fee framework.”
