Brooks Kushman Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney Frank A. Angileri Honored as a 2015 Leader in the Law

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman Shareholder, Frank A. Angileri, has been named a 2015 “Leader in the Law” by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. Angileri will be recognized along with 30 other honorees at the 2015 Leaders in the Law award ceremony hosted by Michigan Lawyers Weekly on March 26, 2015 in Troy.

According to Michigan Lawyers Weekly, this honor recognizes lawyers for: significant accomplishments or achievements in law practice; outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Michigan; leadership in improving the justice system in Michigan; seeking improvements to the legal community and their communities at large; and setting an example for other lawyers.

With more than 20 years of experience practicing in the area of intellectual property litigation, Angileri has lead council for a wide variety of clients that spreads across various technologies and industries including, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial technologies, food and beverage and home appliances. He has successfully tried patent, trademark, trade secret and copyright cases in Federal Courts nationwide, the Courts of Appeals for the Sixth and Federal Circuits and the International Trade Commission.

Angileri serves on the Board of Directors for Challenge Detroit which is an organization dedicated to attracting and retaining new talent to the City of Detroit. He is the founding president of the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court, a member of the Federal Bar Association, Federal Circuit Bar Association, Intellectual Property Owner’s Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association.

Angileri holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
