Kristin Murphy Discusses 10 Breakthrough Technologies at the Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman Shareholder, Kristin Murphy, will participate on a panel during the upcoming Annual Collaboration for Entrepreneurship (ACE) event on Jan. 30th in Livonia, Mich. Murphy`s panel will discuss the “top 10” breakthrough technologies that have solved difficult problems and driven innovation.

Murphy will join Michigan Technological University`s Jim Baker, Michigan State University Technologies` Richard Chylla and Attorney Cindy Bott in a review of the top 10 breakthrough technologies during the first breakout session.

In addition to her work as an IP attorney, Murphy has worked as a project engineer for a manufacturing company, editor and adjunct professor. She is also the immediate past president of the Women`s Bar Association – Women Lawyer Association of Michigan, Oakland County Region and the current president of the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association. She is a former co-chair of the Industrial Advisory Council for the School of Engineering at Western New England University and is a member of the Advisory Board for The Pink Fund, a Michigan-based charity that provides short-term financial aid to women and men who are in active treatment for and recovery from breast cancer (she was a member of the Board of Directors for several years).
