Stephanie Mansfield To Present At Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Brooks Kushman Registered Patent Agent Stephanie Mansfield, Ph.D. will act as a moderator for the Technology Transfer Pitches and Networking session at the Biomedical Engineering Society’s (BMES) Annual Meeting in Minneapolis, MN on October 5-8, 2016.The session will be a forum for select researchers to pitch to companies interested in sponsor­ing research or licensing a technology.  Mansfield will also serve on a panel discussing alternative career paths in the biomedical science industry.

Mansfield has nearly two decades of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the biomedical and mechanical arts.  In her career with Brooks Kushman, she has worked with many biomedical technology clients, focusing on medical, orthopedic and biomechanical devices, tissue engineering and consumer products. Mansfield speaks regularly on intellectual property protection within the biomedical and medical device industries.

Mansfield holds a Doctorate and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University.
