The web-hosted event titled, “Protecting Your Client’s Intellectual Property: What Every Lawyer Needs to Know” will dive into the basics of intellectual property (IP) law, providing an overview of patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and licensing essentials, preview common IP issues, and cover basic IP terminology for attorneys with limited practical IP experience.
Patel is an experienced patent attorney with a passion for providing her clients with high-quality, strategic intellectual property advice, with an eye for detail and current technological trends. She focuses her practice on the preparation and prosecution of domestic patent applications in the chemical engineering and materials arts, and providing opinions related to IP issues.
Patel has multi-faced experience working extensively within a variety of industries, with emphasis on technologies related to chemical engineering and advanced materials.
