Brooks Kushman Partnership with Cristo Rey Student Work Study Program Featured in Fox 2 News Report

October 28, 2011 – Brooks Kushman and the Detroit Cristo Rey High School were featured in the recent Fox 2 News Detroit story about the school`s Corporate Work Study Program, which presents a unique opportunity for the school and local businesses. The Corporate Work Study Program is designed to give the Cristo Rey students the opportunity to spend one day a week working at a local business and the other four days a week in the classroom. This allows the students to gain real-life work experience to gain knowledge, skills and self-confidence, all the while complementing the school`s highly regarded academic program.

Brooks Kushman is one of many local businesses working with the Detroit Cristo Rey High School and the Brooks Kushman student team consists of four students that satisfy a 40 hour work week. The student team at Brooks Kushman includes Celina Ortiz, Wesley Striggles, Anti`Shay Taylor and Teojineya Tomlin.
